The S&B Cold Air Intake for the Colorado / Canyon Duramax 2.8L was engineered to minimize air restrictions and flows 16.20% better than stock.
This kit comes with an enclosed airbox that protects the filter from dirt, debris and keeps out the engine heat.
One benefit of this kit is the multiple airflow configurations.
Depending on your air flow requirements, you can use the box plug to have the front inlet be the primary source of airflow, install the auxiliary air scoop for two extra inlets or neither and open up the back-side of the airbox to provide a large secondary opening for airflow directly to the filter.
